Kurt A. Striny, 52, of Coaldale, formerly of Emmaus, died Oct. 26, 2013, in his home. Born in New Providence, N.J., he was the son of Kurt M. Striny, of Toms River, N.J., and the late Wilma M. (Strodel) Striny.

He was a warehouse manager for Excel, Inc. for 19 years and previously worked in construction.

He is survived by his father; son, Jason, of Jim Thorpe; daughters, Denise Yelito, of Coaldale, Sonia Smith, of Frackville and Taylor, of Lancaster; sisters, Lorelei Thees, of Toms River, N.J., Rosemarie Nonnemacher, of Alburtis, and Kathryn Diehl, of Fisher; grandchildren, Ja'Shon Yelito, Landen Smith and Alexis Smith.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Oct. 30 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 1 to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
