"Curtains" had its world premiere in 2006 in Los Angeles, opened on Broadway in 2007 and received eight Tony Award nominations, with David Hyde Pierce, who played Lt. Frank Cioffi, receiving the leading actor in a musical Tony. The Broadway run concluded in 2008.
