Florence E. (Engelman) Schlicher, 98, died Oct. 26, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late William M. Schlicher of Zionsville. Born in Trumbauersville, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Elva (Moose) Engelman.
She ran the family farm beside her husband for 40 years.
She was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville, and the Woodman of the World Lodge, Bechtelsville.
She is survived by sons, Donald O. and his wife Sandra, of Zionsville and Dale W. and his wife Mary Christine, of West Chester; brothers, Samuel Engelman, of Mesa, Ariz. and Robert Engleman, of Palmyra; five grandchildren, Dennis, Darryl, Jonathan, Joy and Jennifer; 12 great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Harry Engelman.
Services will be 11 a.m. Nov. 1 at Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5901 Kings Highway South, Old Zionsville, 18068. Viewing 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 1 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
Contributions may be made to the building fund at the church.
