Edwin J. Garger, 64, of Emmaus, died Oct. 21, 2013, in his home. Born in North-ampton, he was the son of Edwin and Helen (Koval) Garger of Cementon.
He was a chef for most of his working career, having worked for a few restaurants in the Lehigh Valley, including the Gourmet Inn in Northampton for about 10 years and at Shepherd Hills Country Club for about eight years.
He had been an active member of the Eastern PA Chef's Association and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He is survived by a son, Scott K. and his fiance, Tara Masonheimer; former wife, Kathleen.
