Clyde W. Schaffer, 88, of Quakertown, died Oct. 12, 2013, in his home. He was the husband of the late Anna M. (Hillegass) Schaffer who died in 1993. Born in Limeport, he was a son of the late Reuben G. and Carrie (Fogel) Schaffer.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was employed at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 35 years until retiring.

He is survived by twin daughters, Shirley and her husband Samuel Alicea and Sharon and her husband Bela Fodrovics; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. He was the last surviving of 19 siblings.
