Thomas J. Cooper, 65, of Allentown, died Oct. 16, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Frederick and Ann (Beyak) Cooper. He was the husband of the late Diane M. (Kemmerer) Cooper.
During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army.
He was an adjunct technology professor of electronics at Northampton Community College, Bethlehem, for the past 10 years. Prior to that, he worked at Bethlehem Steel for more than 30 years as a motor inspector.
He was a former member of Trinity E.C. Church, Allentown.
He was a member the United Steel Workers Union, Local 2599.
He is survived by a son, Tim C. and his wife Angela R. of Allentown; a daughter, Amy C. Cooper-McCormick and her husband Sean McCormick of Perkasie; a brother, Fred D. and his wife Kathy of L. Saucon Township; and a grandson, Ezra.
