Lois M. Guerra, 59, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 15, 2013, after an eight year battle with cancer. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of Mary (Alonso) Guerra of Bethlehem and the late Adolph Guerra.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Reading. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees from DeSales University.
She was a nurse for Lehigh Valley Hospital for 38 years. She was most recently director of the Orthopedic Unit, Cedar Crest location.
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Alesia and her husband Chad Coulter of Bethlehem; two grandchildren, Cameron and Ava Coulter; a brother, Richard and his wife Meg Guerra of Ind.; two nieces, Michele (Tyler) Hasty and Danielle (Ryan) Mains; and a nephew, Matthew Guerra.
