The Press weekly newpapers are once again collecting non-perishable food and personal care items, along with Christmas cards for our service men and women stationed in and spending Christmas away from home in countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait.

Donations will be collected through Nov. 1 at The Press office, 1633 N. 26th St., South Whitehall.

Suggested items include Power Bars, cereal bars, trail mix, granola bars and healthy snacks; toothbrushes and small toothpaste tube; foot powder and foot cream for athlete's foot; AT&T Global Pre-Paid calling cards (available at aafes.com); money for shipping costs.
