Daniel J. Weaver, 43, of Coplay, died Oct. 6, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.
Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Dennis Weaver of Northampton and Dorothy (Fuller) Abel of Lansford.
He was a SPC, U.S. Army, during the Gulf War in Desert Storm.
He was last employed as a laborer for Skrapits Concrete Company, Northampton, for two years. Before that, he worked for Trunzo Concrete Company, Bath, for two years; and at Phoenix Forge Company, Catasauqua, as a C.N.C. operator for several years.
He was a member and 2013 Post Commander, V.F.W., Post 4714, Northampton. He was a member of the Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, Northampton, and of Coplay American Legion Post 426. He participated in many events that served disabled veterans.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancee Tammy Lacey, with whom he resided; three daughters, Rachel Satow of Gainesville, Fla., and Kayla M. Weaver and son Darryen Weaver, both of Effort, and Ashley Turner of Coplay; three brothers, Donald K. and his wife Danielle Weaver of Jim Thorpe, David R. and his wife Paula Weaver of Kunkletown, and David and his wife Ellen Abel of Catasauqua; a sister, Chrissy of Allentown; and several nieces and nephews.
