Police responded to a report of a woman in the 100 block of Stone Alley being harassed by her ex-boyfriend Oct. 13.

The woman told police she asked the individual to vacate her premises a week earlier and, since his departure, he has continued to call and text her, police said.

Officers spoke to the ex-boyfriend and instructed him to cease communicating with the woman, police said.

Alarm activated

Police responded to an alarm Oct. 13 in the 1200 block of Center Street.

Police said the alarm was triggered accidentally as the resident forgot the alarm code.

Oil spilled

Police and the borough fire department were called to the unit block of North Second Street to investigate a reported fuel oil spill.

Police said the resident received a fuel oil delivery on Oct. 11. Later the fuel oil expanded and leaked onto the ground and front porch of the residence, police said.

The fire department handled the matter, police said.

Chili sets off alarm

Police and firefighters responded to a report of burnt chili Oct. 13 in the unit block of North Second Street.

Police took no further action.
