Mary Frances Stackewich, 71, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 28, 2013, at Holy Family Manor. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Mihala) Kerecz. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Stackewich.
She worked for Burger King, Bethlehem, for more than 20 years.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where she volunteered and was active with the fellowship and ladies groups, the retreat team and the carnival. She was a a volunteer librarian at Sacred Heart School, Miller Heights.
She is survived by a son, Joseph and his wife Lori of Slatington; three daughters, Donna and her husband John Russo of Bethlehem; Cynthia of Easton and Carol of Bethlehem; a sister, Barbara and her husband, Gene Brett of Hellertown; a sister-in-law, Lorraine and her husband Joseph Snyder of Glen Carbon, Ill.; grandchildren; great- grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Kerecz.
