Millwood L. Kelley of Lower Macungie Township, formerly of North Plainfield, N.J., where she was a lifelong resident until 2000, died Oct. 1, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
She graduated from Centenary College in Hackettstown, N.J.
She was a past president of the North Plainfield Women's Club and served as the volunteer chairman of Muhlenberg Hospital service shop in Plainfield, N.J. for many years. For 13 years, she was a commissioner on the Somerset County Board of Elections.
Her personal interests included time with family, sewing, knitting hats and scarves for seamen, bridge, traveling and watching the N.Y. Yankees and spending summers at the Jersey shore.
She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl K. and her husband Allen Crawford, of Macungie; son, Robert N. of Gainesville, Va.; grandchildren, Douglas of Arlington, Va., Spencer Crawford of Emmaus and Gregory of Alexandria, Va.; great-granddaughter, Clara.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Oct. 19 at Wilson Memorial Church, Watchung, N.J.
