The scheduled Sept. 17 hearing for the conditional use application for the Strawberry Fields senior living complex was re-scheduled at the request of the developer, 5077 Overlook Drive LLC.
North Whitehall supervisors granted a time extension until Jan. 31, 2014, to allow the developer time to make the presentation.
The developer originally proposed three options for the property: 108 units in three buildings; 108 units in four buildings or 84 single units.
No date will be set until the plan or plans have been presented to and reviewed by the township planning commission.
No plans have been submitted to date, so the proposal will not be on the agenda for the October planning commission meeting.
According to Township Manager Jeff Bartlett, as the developer missed the submission date for the October meeting, the earliest a plan could be reviewed by the planning commission would be in November.
It is also uncertain whether the developer will submit one, two or three plans for review.
If there are multiple plans, each will be reviewed independently.
If it is discovered relief is necessary from the zoning ordinance and application must be put before the zoning hearing board, supervisors could table the plan until the zoning board meets and makes its recommendations.
