Kim (Haberern) Stone

Kim (Haberern) Stone, 58, of Beverly, Mass., died Sept. 29, 2013, after a nine-month struggle with brain cancer. She was the wife of Richard H. Stone for 21 years.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of Roberta (Scheffler) Haberern of Whitehall and the late William Haberern.

She was a graduate of Whitehall High School. She earned a bachelor's degree from East Stroudsburg University.

She was an award-winning corporate video producer. She and her husband co-owned a video production company.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school, sang in the church choir, participated on mission trips to impoverished areas and volunteered her time with many community activities.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Zachary Stone of Beverly; two brothers, Keith and his wife Karen Haberern of Collingswood, N.J., and Kent and his wife Lisa Haberern of Bird-in-Hand; and extended family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
