Susan Hanisak, 58, died Sept. 25, 2013, at Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, with her loved ones at her side. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Piff) and Richard Snyder.
She graduated from Salisbury High School and was employed for over 20 years at Colonial Pizza House, Easton.
After schooling and training in the medical field, she was employed for the past seven years at St. Luke's University Hospital. She was currently working in the offices of Dr. Bub and Associates, Emmaus.
She was nominated by her peers and received the PCRAFT award at St. Luke's as an outstanding employee.
The love of her life was her rescue cat "Chloe."
She is survived by a sister Carla Dimler and brother Peter Snyder; seven nieces and nephews; nine grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Richard Snyder II.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Oct. 2, at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1707 Church Road, Allentown.
