A Gala Charitable Screening of the new movie, "Decoding Annie Parker," 5 p.m. Oct. 17, ArtsQuest Center, SteelStacks' Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem, is being presented by St. Luke's University Health Network and The Cancer Support Community of the Lehigh Valley.
"Decoding Annie Parker," starring Helen Hunt and Samantha Morton, is inspired by the story of three-time cancer survivor Annie Parker.
The evening includes a Red Carpet Reception featuring live entertainment, pink champagne, light fare and a silent auction, a 7 p.m. sneak peek of "Decoding Annie Parker" and a 9 p.m. panel discussion featuring medical professionals from St. Luke's University Health Network.
Featured panelists include Tricia Kelly, MD, FACS, a board-certified surgeon specializing in breast surgery oncology; gynecologic oncologist Israel Zighelboim, MD, FACOG, FACS; and Andrea Smith, MS, CGC, Genetics Counselor.
