Alfred W. Oberecker, 91, of Emmaus, died Sept. 22, 2013, in his home. He was the husband of Jean R. (Becker) Oberecker. They would have celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary next month. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Fasching) Oberecker.

He was employed at Lehigh Valley Dairy for 27 years and was the owner of the former Parkland Dairy Mart.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus

He enjoyed playing the trumpet for several local bands.

He is survived by his wife; four children; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

Services were held. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
