Jennie Kovalchik, 90, of Northampton, died Sept. 16, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. She was the wife of Edward S. Kovalchik. They would have celebrated 68 years of marriage Oct. 20.

Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Chucz) Sedonic.

She worked as a beautician for more than 22 years.

She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Northampton.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Rita wife of John Bendekovits of Northampton, Gloria wife of Stephen Reiter of Fogelsville; son, Edward Jr. of Northampton; many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
