Nadine Bauder, 98, of Emmaus, died Sept. 23, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Harold H. "Toddy" Bauer, who died in 1963. Born in Marshfield, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Jesse P. and Rosa (Galbraith) Millhauser.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus where she served on the Altar Guild.

She was an Army (WAAC) veteran serving during World War II and was a member of the East Greenville American Legion Post 184 for the last 54 years.

She worked for Rodale Press for about 13 years, retiring in 1989. Previously she was a self-employed hairdresser from 1946 to 1977.

She was a member of the Emmaus Business Professional Women's Club, enjoyed playing bingo, loved to bake and had a kind heart towards all dogs.

She is survived by a daughter, Eileen F., of Emmaus; sister, Helen Swift; nieces, nephews and her faithful dog, Angel.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday in the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held noon to 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
