Geraldine M. Brennan, 83, of Wescosville, formerly of Allentown, died Sept. 21, 2013. She was the wife of the late John A. Brennan Sr. Born in Wilkes Barre, she was a daughter of the late August and Wanda (Zbyszewski) Yankoski.

She was a 1950 graduate of the Sacred Heart School of Nursing. She worked at Sacred Heart Hospital for 18 years, and subsequently for Dr. Leo Hastings for 17 years, prior to retirement.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown.

She is survived by daughters, Colleen, of Wescosville, Kathleen and her husband Bruce Billy, of Emmaus; son, John A. Jr. and his wife Janice, of Elkins Park; sister, Mildred Cericola, of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Christina, Michael, Kaitlyn, and Shawn; great-grandchildren, Teresa, Alexandra and Sophia. She was predeceased by a sister, Constance Rogalewicz and a brother, Joseph.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Sacred Heart Hospital, 421 Chew St., Allentown, 18102.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis of Assisi. No calling hours. Arrangements were made by the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown.
