The Northampton County Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Northampton Borough Police Department and Lehigh Township, served an arrest warrant on a Northampton man Sept. 16.

Trevor Stofko of 3751 Mangrove Drive was taken into custody on charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substances and other charges.

The warrant was the result of a three-month investigation involving a controlled purchase of marijuana at the address.

While conducting a search at the residence, officers recovered $9,596 in cash, over half a pound of marijuana, several grams of hashish, several hundred baggies, a scale and over 15 pieces of paraphernalia.

Stofko was arraigned on the warrant in front of Magistrate Robert Hawke and committed to Northampton County Prison under $40,000 bail.

More charges are to be filed at a later date.
