Daniel E. Mason, 65, of Northampton, died Aug. 29, 2013, at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia. He was the husband of Mary Louise (Redline) Mason for 18 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Edward P. Mason and Margaret V. (Vengrin) Mason of Northampton.

He was a maintenance supervisor for Essroc Cement Corp., Nazareth, for 33 years until retiring in 2005.

He attended St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Berlinsville.

He was a life member and past president of the Lappawinzo Fish and Game Protective Association, Allen Township, where he was instrumental in the Hokendauqua Creek Restoration Program, dam improvement and cable bridge construction. He was a life member of the Petersville Rod & Gun Club, Raccoon Club of East Allen Township and the former First Ward Volunteer Fire Company, Northampton.

In addition to his wife and mother; he is survived by two daughters, Michele M. and her husband Timothy E. Paul, and Susan M. and her companion Jack Marsh, all of Northampton; two sons, Todd M. and his wife Debra Hoffman of Danielsville and Justin L. and his wife Brandi Hoffman of Palmerton; and 12 grandchildren, Steven, Raymond, Austin, Chad, Dylan, Autumn, Brooke, Julia, Cena, Celeste, Cevaeh, and Derek.
