Christine A. Anthony, 96, of Coplay, died Aug. 22, 2013, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late George F. Anthony for 64 years.
Born in Stiles, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Rose (Artinger) Hacker.
She was a sewing machine operator for various local mills and a self-employed seamstress.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whitehall, and of its Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by nine daughters, Christine Faller, Rosemary and her husband Terry Simpson, Geraldine and her husband William Dussinger, all of Allentown; Dolores and her husband Dominic Meoli of Berwyn; Janet and her husband William Doyle of Bethlehem; Martina and her husband Thomas Metz of Trooper; Bernadette and her husband Brendan Mullins of Laurys Station; and Monica and her husband John Scannell and Denise and her husband James Greene, all of Whitehall; two sons, George R. and his wife Carol of Orefield, and Gregory and his wife Lisa of Northampton; 24 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
