Angel 34 fundraiser bike ride Sept. 13, 14

Angel 34 Foundation is having its second Valley Preferred Wheels for Hope Ambassador to the Cause bike ride 8:30 a.m. Sept. 14.

This year the Angel 34 Foundation has tapped Lauren Loose, 16, as this year's ambassador for the Valley Preferred Wheels for Hope.

Lauren, who has been battling cancer since birth, has been an inspiration to all those who know her.

Loose's First and Goal, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, a labor of love was started in 2004 by John and Marianne Loose in honor of their daughter, a pediatric brain tumor survivor.

The Loose family started the foundation as a way to help other families who are battling childhood cancer.

Meet Lauren 6-8:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Macy's Pasta Dinner at Waterfalls, Emmaus, or from noon-3 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center, 1151 Mosser Road, Trexlertown.
