Susanna Marie Eckhart, 70, of Macungie, died Sept. 7, 2013. She was the wife of Gordon R. Eckhart for 51 years last Sept. 16. Born in Macungie, she was a daughter of the late Paul R. and Isabella R. (Thuring) Fromm.

She was a member of the Macungie Christian Community.

She was a member of the Macungie Women's Club.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Tammy L. and her husband Terrence L. Engleman, of Macungie and Kristal K. Eckhart - Daniels, of Macungie; a sister, Johanne I. R. Oswald, of Emmaus; and three grandchildren, Jordan Daniels and Justin and Jonathan Engleman.

She was predeceased by two siblings, Nancy F. Fromm and Paul R. Fromm Jr.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Sept. 12 at Macungie Christian Community, Macungie. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 11 at David J. Boyko Funeral Home and from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Sept. 12 at Macungie Christian Community.
