Althea Malera Hoffman, 92, of Allentown, died Sept. 5, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice. She was the wife of the late Edgar L. Hoffman. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Pearl (Seidel) Siegfried.

She worked in the garment industry for 40 years, retiring in 1974. She also was a former model at local department stores.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She enjoyed knitting, arts and crafts, bingo and was an avid Phillies fan.

She is survived by a son, Edward S., of Allentown; niece, caregiver and nearly like a daughter, Patsy Tyson, of Alburtis; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Leroy Siegfried; and two sisters, Pauline Yenser and Grace Huber.

There will be a viewing 10 to 11:15 a.m. followed by funeral services 11:15 am. Sept. 11 in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
