on dean's list

The following students from the Class of 2013 were named to the spring dean's list at Hofstra University.

Students who began their studies before fall 2012 must earn at least a 3.4 grade point average to qualify.

Those who entered the university after fall 2012 must earn a grade point average of 3.5.

Local students on the list include:

Fogelsville: Sean Gradwell is majoring in film studies and production and history;

Kempton: Christine Neumann is majoring in journalism;

New Tripoli: Max Knoblauch is majoring in journalism and Elyse Suter is majoring in english;

Orefield: Kevin Tamerler is majoring in global studies and geography.
