Marjorie M. Klingman, 78, of Emmaus, died Aug. 23, 2013, at home. She was the wife of William C. Klingman. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in January. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late T. Randall and Mildred (Valora) Kreibel.

She was a merchandise coordinator for Hess's Department Store from 1966 to 1992 and prior to that worked for Leh's Department Store as a model from 1951 to 1954.

She graduated from Allen High School in 1953.

She is survived by her husband; son, Chris and his wife Susan, of Emmaus; brother, Denton Kreibel, of Allentown; sisters, Maryann Birk, of Bethlehem and Jane Freyman, of Allentown; granddaughters, Abigail and Jennifer; half-sister, Ruth Kadoich of Phoenix, Ariz.

Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia or Hope Lodge, both c/o the funeral home, 18102.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Aug. 30, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. A calling hour will begin 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
