Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUGUST 7

· A report of white paint spilled on the deck and wooden table at a residence brought officers to the 500 block of Howertown Road.

AUGUST 9

· Officers responded to the theft of 50 feet of braided steel safety cable from the billboard in the 500 block of Main Street.

AUGUST 10

· A call about graffiti painted on several homes and one business brought police to the 1700 and 2000 blocks of Main Street.

AUGUST 11

· Police responded to a report of a vehicle struck by another automobile in the parking lot of Hammerhead Lounge, 326 Main St.

· A report of a stop sign and pole ripped out of the ground brought officers to the intersection of Atlas Court and Cherry Street.

· Officers responded to a report of a found bicycle at the corner of Fourth and Main streets.

AUGUST 12

· The theft of a gas powered concrete saw brought police to the 1300 block of Newport Avenue.
