Betty A. Green, 87, formerly of Wescosville, died Aug. 6, 2013. She was the wife of the late Robert Emmett "Reds" Green, and the late Earl H. Binder. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Confer) Shankweiler.

She was a floor lady for many years for the former Allison Mfgr. Co. of Allentown.

She is survived by a son, Barry Binder and his wife, Diane, of Emmaus; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Earl C. Binder.
