Suspicious man reported

A call came into police headquarters on Aug. 1 about a man in a blue coat walking around homes looking into windows in the 800 block of Catherine Drive.

Officers responding located the individual, who was checking water meters, police said.

Man yelling at vehicles

Police were dispatched to the Giant Food Market, Chestnut and Cherry streets, July 28 in response to a report of a man yelling at passing vehicles.

Police said they found the man sitting on a bench in front of the store. The person was told by Giant management he is no longer permitted on the property, police said.

Vehicles damaged

Coplay Police on Friday were summoned to the 100 block of South Second Street for a report of a damaged vehicle.

The vehicle's owner told the officer her vehicle was scratched on the passenger side.
