Ralph H. Walbert, 86, formerly of Emmaus, died July 30, 2013, at Bucktail Medical Center, Renovo. He was the husband of the late Thelma L. (Hackenberg) Lindtner. Born in Topton, he was the son of the late Paul B. and Clara M. (Fretz) Walbert.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He worked at Owens Corning, Emmaus, for several years. He also worked at Howerter's Furniture, Emmaus, after retiring. He enjoyed gardening and cutting grass.

He was a member of the Renovo V.F.W.

He is survived by six children, Todd A., Brian K., Robin Y. Serensits, Troy D., Dana S. and Jeffrey Lindtner; five siblings, Betty, Grace, Pauline, Jane and Robert; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
