Peggy L. Brown, 72, of Bethlehem, died July 21, 2013, in St. Luke's Hospice House. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lucille (Shelly) Kemp. She was the wife of Nelson B. Brown of Bath.

She was a 1959 graduate of Liberty High School.

She worked in the transportation divisions of several school districts in the Lehigh Valley. She worked for the Morning Call.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Thomas W. Parent III of Blakeslee and Stephen Parent of Bethlehem; two daughters, Kristine Kovacs and her husband Bruce Sr. of Bethlehem and Rhonda M. Kovacs and her husband Brian M. of Orefield; two brothers, Joel Rettew of Calif. and Roger A. Kemp of Huntingdon; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
