Isaac J. Elias, 98, of Bethlehem, died July 23, 2013, in his home. Born in Amar, Syria, he was a son of the late Ayoub and Hasibe (Charles) Elias. He was the husband of Sayde (Mourani) Elias for 50 years and of the late Mary (Domenic) Elias.

He was in the U.S. Army during World War I.

He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Company for 33 years until he retired in 1977.

He was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Jim and his wife Linda of Coopersburg, David and his wife Nathalie of Hanover Township, and Dan of Northampton; and three granddaughters, Reina, Maya and Kayla.
