Vacation Bible school is being held this week at Faith Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, with the theme of "Where God's World Comes Together."

There will be a closing program during the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Aug. 4.

Everyone is invited to attend and listen to the children.

There will be a special musical presentation also at Faith Lutheran Church Sunday, Aug. 18, as Michael Bodnyk offers a "Sermon in Song" during the 9 a.m. worship service.

Michael, the son of Faith Lutheran's pastor, is a professional tenor, currently singing with the choir of St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC.

The annual Wheels of Faith Car Show and Craft Fair will be held Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. The rain date is Sunday, Aug. 18, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Come on out to see the many classic cars and trucks, plus the featured car, Hayden Proffitt's Super Stocker '62 Chevy 409 Belair, which is a national record holder.

Shop among the large variety of crafters and enjoy good food, including breakfast and lunch in the church social hall the entire day. Enjoy all of this with easy listening to music by the DJ.

Bring the family, friends and neighbors! A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Whitehall Food Pantry.
