David A. Borger Sr., 57, of Whitehall, died July 22, 2013, at home.

He was the son of the late Merritt and Eleanor "Dollie" (Schultz) Borger.

He was a 1973 graduate of Whitehall High School.

He was a pre-stressed concrete inspector for PennDOT.

He was a junior bowling coach for many years. He bowled at the Rose Bowl and was a member of the ABC Tour.

He is survived by two sons, David A. Jr. of Orefield and Ryan M. of Whitehall; and a brother, Donald.

He was predeceased by an infant sister, Dawn.

There will be a visitation at 9:30 a.m. followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 3 at the Gilbert Funeral Home, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall 18052.
