By now, you all should be enjoying your BLTs as your garden tomato crop overwhelms your backyard.
Take some time out for the Catasauqua Garden Club meeting on Aug. 7 at 1 p.m. Sue Kittek, a Pennsylvania Master Gardener and garden columnist for the Morning Call, will share floral design and prep with the group. The Wednesday meeting will take place at the usual location, the Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.
Remember to have your display items in place by 12:45 p.m. Garden friendly visitors are welcome to attend.
