Members of the Senior High Youth Group from New Life Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, recently presented a check for $1,200 for the Prager Cancer Fund at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Township.

On Fathers Day, the students and their teacher, LVHN Pharmacist Jennifer Mesker, participated in a hair donation fundraiser for Locks of Love and the Prager Fund.

Nine women and girls had their hair cut and 13 men and boys had their heads shaved to show support and raise money for the event. Others donated their hair following the event and 42 ponytails were turned given to Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to children needing to replace their own hair lost to disease or chemotherapy.
