Betty Crouthamel, 88, formerly of Plainfield Township, died July 2, 2013, in Holy Family Manor. Born in Bethlehem Township, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Campbell) Bennett. She was the wife of the late Kenneth M. Crouthamel.

She worked at the former Orr's Department Store as a manager in the cosmetic department. She retired from the former Sparrow Blouse Mill, Nazareth.

She was a former member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Nazareth.

She is survived by two daughters, Elena and her husband Ronald Ryerson of Camp Hill and Hope Stempo and her house mate Anita Nikki Kotoris of Northampton; four grandchildren, Lori and Daniel Ryerson, Trenace Caserta and Michelle Stempo; and seven great-grandchildren.
