Bernard J. Bernatovich, 87, of Emmaus, formerly of Allentown, died July 22, 2013. He was the husband of the late Mary Ann (Kerbacher) Bernatovich. Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late John and Helen Bernatovich.

He worked for Montex Textile in Allentown for 30 years and then worked part time for the 1st National Bank and the Little Apple Market as a custodian.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Allentown.

He was an avid fan of polka music, polka dancing, playing bingo and cards.

He is survived by sons, Edward J. and his wife Debbie, Bernard J. Jr. and his wife Cathy, Michael J. and his wife Mary Ellen; daughter, Donna and her husband Joseph Gower; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers and five sisters.

A viewing will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday to be followed by a service 11 a.m., all at the Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton St., Allentown.
