St. Luke's Sports Performance, Chandler Baseball and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs are sponsoring the Grand Slam Baseball Combine 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 8.

This is an exciting and high-value exposure for high school baseball players, ages 13-18, who have the desire and ability to play college baseball.

The event will take place at Lehigh Valley IronPigs' Coca-Cola Park.

Each player will showcase his talents in front of college coaches and scouts looking for players for their baseball programs.

Individual skill testing results will be available to all participants and coaches in attendance.

Arm strength, running speed, pop times, defensive drills and more are tested on an individual basis for all to see and evaluate.

This event is limited to 200 athletes.

There is a fee for each player.

The event will be run by John Graham, St. Luke's director of Sports and Human Performance.
