Eleanor L. Walter, 86, died July 9, 2013, in her home. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Irving Davis and Mildred (Corcoran) Lukehart. She was the wife of the late Paul C. Walter for 55 years.

She was the department supervisor and buyer for Hess's French Room and Women's Fashions. She also was a receptionist for Janney, Montgomery, Scott in Bethlehem.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem.

She was a member of the Bethlehem Garden Club and was active in the Junior League of Bethlehem.

She is survived by a daughter, Ranie Walter Santee of Allentown; a son, P. Charles and his wife Terry of Bethlehem; and three grandchildren, Jacob and his wife Melanie of Boston, Judd and his wife Rachel of Bethlehem and Abigail and her fiancee Chaz Surman of Richlandtown.

She was predeceased by a brother, Pete Lukehart.
