Catherine J. Knipe, 96, of Bethlehem Township, died July 8, 2013, in the home of her son. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late James and Emma (Dougherty) Wilson. She was the wife of the late Paul H. Knipe Sr.

She worked for Tip Top Diaper Service and Allen Laundry until she retired in 1979.

She was a member of Bethany U.C.C. Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by a son, Paul "Butch" H. Jr. and his wife Sandy, with whom she resided; four grandchildren, Lisa and her husband Jeff Ortwein and their sons Austin and Ryan; Lori and her husband Rick Graessel and their daughters Brooke and Ava; Paula and her husband Erik Kaintz and their children Travis and Kayla; and David and his wife Michelle Stout and their children Shannon and Zachary.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Bonnie and her husband Tom Stout; a sister, Gladys Apple; a brother, Harold Dougherty; and a great-granddaughter, Autumn Graessel.
