Karen A. Gillespie, 60, of Emmaus, died July 11, 2013, in the Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the longtime companion of Kevin D. Zotter. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marita (Mulhall) Gillespie.

She was a graduate of Hazleton General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of '73, and Hazleton High School, Class of '71.

She was a registered nurse having worked at the Berwick Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital, Hazleton.

She is survived by her companion; sister, JoAnn and her husband Michael Stola; nieces and nephews; her dogs, Hunter and Tessie. She was predeceased by a brother, James.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
