James D. Watt Jr., 69, of Macungie, died July 7, 2013. He was the husband of Pamela S. (Stecker) Watt, with whom he celebrated 18 years of marriage Jan. 14. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late James D. Sr. and Barbara (McClure) Watt.

He was a member of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Schuylkill Bar Association, having practiced law in Schuylkill County at James D. Watt Law offices 1977 to 1994.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Dr. John M., Major James D. III and his wife Jill, and Attorney Nicholas T.; stepsons, James E. Best and Brendon Best; grandchildren, Lauren and Aiden.
