Elizabeth "Betsie" G. Kunkel, 62, of Wescos-ville, died July 11, 2013, in the Le-high Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Henry C. Kunkel. They were married for 38 years. Born in Pittsford, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Norman N. and Elizabeth (Hallock) Gurley.

She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Allentown, where she was a member of the choir and bell choir. She was a former member of Baleville Congregational Church, Newton, N.J., where she was a choir member and Ladies Aid.

She graduated from Westminster College and taught special education at Franklin Borough Elementary, N.J., for 33 and one-half years before retiring.

She enjoyed crocheting and donated many blankets to Victory Junction and to family and friends.

She is survived by her husband; son, Tucker and companion, Katrina Kervandjian, of Lake Hopatcong, N.J.; daughter, Dr. Elizabeth S. of Portland, Ore.; brothers, Richard Gurley and his wife, Kathy, of Zionsville, Ind., and Robert Gurley and his wife, Mary, of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; nieces; nephews.
