Betty J. Reinert, 89, of Emmaus, died peacefully July 7, 2013. She was the wife of the late Paul D. Reinert, an Army veteran of World War II, who died in 1984. Born in the Mountainville section of Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Estella A. (Laubach) Erdman.

She was employed at the Emmaus Shirt Factory and as a secretary for her family-owned business.

She was a member of St. John's UCC Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by a son, Glenn D. and his wife, Karin, of Emmaus; grandchildren, Denise and her husband David Reid, and Heather and her husband Bruce Leibensperger; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Brandon, Aidan, and Lauren; companion, William (Bill) Garner. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Grubb, formerly of Whitehall.
