Theft reported

State police on June 10 responded to a report of theft in the BJ's parking lot, 1785 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

According to police, an unknown individual removed a purse from a shopping cart as the victim was loading shopping bags into her vehicle.

A theft from a motor vehicle brought police to 6220 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County June 12.

According to police, unknown individuals removed a radio, amplifier and speakers from the vehicle.

Items stolen

Police were called June 13 to the Christmas Tree Shop, 916 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County, to investigate the theft of two lamps and an inflatable pool from the store.

Pistol, cash taken from vehicles

Police reported on June 23 unknown individuals removed cash, loose change and a pistol from vehicles in the area of Buckingham Drive and Adams Street, Allen Township.

Checkpoint yields DUI arrests

Police conducted a sobriety checkpoint 2:30-3:30 a.m. July 7 along Route 987 in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

The checkpoint resulted in 213 vehicle stops, three DUI arrests, 5 summary traffic citations and two written warnings, police said.
