Ruth Florence Hoyt, 83, of Bethlehem, died July 4, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Born in Mowry, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Irene (Renn) Kimmel.

She was a 1948 graduate of Liberty High School.

She worked for Sure-Fit Inc. until her retirement in 1992.

She is survived by a son, Rickey Paul and his wife Debra; two grandchildren, Joshua and his wife Bryn Hoyt and Jessica and her husband Jamie Wolfe ; four great-grandchildren, Sage, Kirsten, Chase and Addison; and two sisters, Larue Cook and Lorraine Bristol.

She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Kimmel.

Arrangements were made by Long Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
