Vanna Vaia Raptis, 35, of Emmaus, died July 5, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Dimitrios "Jimmy" and Ekaterina "Kathy" (Gatzaras) Raptis of Emmaus.
She graduated from Parkland High School in 1995 and attended Anatolia College in Thessaloniki, Greece.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bethlehem.
She was employed at The Superior Restaurant in Emmaus.
She is survived by her parents; twin brothers Frank and Thomas "Mike" both of Emmaus; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends in the U.S. and in Greece.
Contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation, all in care of the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10 in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1607 West Union Blvd., Bethlehem. Viewing 10 to 11 a.m. in the cathedral. Arrangements were made by the John F. Herron Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
